Week 1: Getting Started Start the hexi panels that will become the main panels of your cardigan. Work the rest of the panels at home ready for week 2. Week 2: Adding rows and joining Next we will add rows to the back and sleeves, measuring and sizing to fit you. We'll work out in class how many rows you'll need so you can complete the rest at home ready for week 3. Week 3: Sewing & ribbing This week we'll look at how to add length. Then we will sew the 2 panels together. and learn how to create the ribbing on the sleeves. Week 4: Bringing It All Together We'll finish up by completing the ribbing, sewing in ends, and advice on how to finish your cardigans at home. What to bring and whats provided: Hooks & stitch markers will be provided. We will send you a link with the colours to choose from closer to the date, or pop into studio to look at the options. At Maker Studio, you’ll find a curated mix of modern craft supplies, tools and kits, from yarn by Rico and Stylecraft to gorgeous embroidery threads and kits from brilliant UK makers like Cotton Twist, The Left Hookery, and more. My own crochet kits are all designed here in Eastbourne and are on the shelves too. We don’t just sell supplies we host weekly workshops in everything from beginner crochet and lino printing to creative writing and still life drawing. There are evening and weekend sessions, as well as family-friendly activities and holiday clubs for kids.
