Description

This lovely little Halloween gnome is easy to make in just a few hours. Everything you need apart from pins, scissors and fabric adhesive will be in the box. You will need basic sewing and embroidery skills. Ie: Split stitch, Blanket stitch and Back stitch. Although a stitch guide is included. We use British wool felts. Man made materials are used in the stuffing and some of the trims. This cute little Halloween or Samhain gnome features simple embroidery around the base in a variegated over dyed DMC thread and tiny sparkling stars in his hat. The hat is trimmed with a pre-made hand crafted braid and finished with a small pumpkin. Included in the kit: All pre cut wool felt components. Trims, threads and needle pack. Instructions and stitch guide. 17cm tall (approx). The gnome is shaped so that he can stand well without being weighted and the hats are wired so that you can arrange to suit your taste. THESE ARE NOT TOYS, so please keep them away from young children and pets as they have small components and wire within the body. Please keep them away from candles and sources of heat. The kit is packed in a strong white box wrapped in acid free tissue. These felt sewing kits make lovely presents and are a wonderful addition to your Halloween decor or even as a table centre piece. Shipping All items in the UK are shipped free of charge via Royal Mail 2nd Class. Parcels valued over £20.00 have to be sent via the signed for service unless requested otherwise at the buyers own risk. In all cases we obtain proof of posting.

"This kit arrived earlier this week and is nicely packaged and has everything needed to make the item. The instructions look clear and the end product looks like it will be beautiful (depending on my skill!). The only reason I didn't give this 'excellent' is due to the fact that there's no print out for the stitches required, I'm going to look them up on YouTube as I think I know what I'm doing, but a simple print out showing how to do these stitches would be useful for others. Overall, I'd buy this kit again, or another kit from the same maker."
