Description
Goldwork embroidery has quite a history. Used for Royal Regalia, Stumpwork caskets as early as the 16th century and maybe earlier using stitches and three dimensional elements. The techniques include silk work, flat and raised stitching, bead work, padding and fine needlework. Stumpwork is varied and imaginative offering scope for a high degree of creativeness. * I teach a maximum of four students at a time on this workshop enabling me to sit with each one of you individually as well as together.
