Description
New and Exclusive Glass workshop In this two hour workshop you will be introduced to creating with coloured glass and get to arrange your creations before they are fired in a special glass kiln. This event is held at Glass Deva, opposite Storyhouse Chester – a specialist glass making studio with experts on hand The friendly team will welcome you & talk you through our range of creative activities. Feel free to mix & match your ideas, explore the shop for creative inspiration. You have up to two hours, so sit back & start creating, chat & you have the option to enjoy the on site cafe’s homemade bakes. The glass team will be on hand to guide you through the process & offer creative advice. Depending on what you have decided to create, you will be able to take your masterpiece home that day, or pick up / post in a couple of days. Get ready for the BIG reveal of your masterpiece! Includes all materials and a hot drink of your choice plus exclusive use of the studio for our group.

Maker
Dr Helen Jones has 12 years art teaching experience. Helen achieved a 1st Class honours in Fine Art and continues to be a practicing Artist from her home studio in Chester. She completed an MA in Art Education and then completed a Doctorate in the subject. She has delivered adult art workshops nationally. Helen has also taught art in Tuscany, the Congo, Rome and Finland. She has a warm and encouraging nature.
