From cutting and shaping coloured glass to assembling your design using lead came, soldering, cementing, and completing it for outdoor use, each step is carefully paced to suit all skill levels, including complete beginners. You’ll choose from a selection of specially created templates, all designed with garden display in mind. Whether you work entirely with vibrant coloured glass or incorporate optional screen-printed elements, your finished piece will be truly unique, shaped by your own design and colour choices. With just four participants per session, the atmosphere is friendly, calm, and focused. There’s plenty of space to ask questions, gain confidence, and enjoy the rewarding process of stained glass making. What's included in the price?
Everything is provided for your day, including all tools and materials. You’ll make a leaded stained glass panel, set in a durable metal frame suitable for outdoor use. A wide variety of coloured glass is available, with the option to include screen-printed pieces for extra detail. Your day also includes a freshly prepared Ploughman’s lunch and afternoon tea, with tea and coffee available throughout. You’ll leave with your completed garden panel and the satisfaction of having crafted something entirely your own.
