Description
Design and make your own creations in fused glass. This experience is ideal for both beginners and those with some glass experience. The ability to cut glass is not a necessity to make wonderful artwork during this experience. However there are some pieces that do involve glass cutting. Help will be availbale and the glass can be cut for you if needed, but to get the most from the experience you should try to cut the glass Please read the descriptions. In the session, you will get to make 1 statement piece of artwork: from the pictures shown. You will also get to make 1, or if time permits 2, smaller items. Full details of each project pictured will be available at the workshop, but you will also have the opportunity to follow your own colour schemes and artistic designs. We will ask for your preferred colour scheme before you attend the experience, and other materials will be available if your artistic thoughts take you in another direction. The experience is held in a wonderfully light and airy studio, with good facilities and ample free parking. It is a working studio and glass gallery, providing plenty of inspiration for this and future experiences. Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition. We will provide you with more details about parking, timings, etc, upon receipt of your booking. However if you have any questions, please use the “message the tutor” button to get in touch. We have wheelchair access and workspace if required. Group bookings can be accommodated with times, dates and refreshments being tailored to the group need. Postage can also be arranged (at cost) Please note you are working with glass which is sharp.
