Learn a new creative skill in a relaxed, friendly environment and enjoy quality time trying something new! Suitable for adults of all ages. What to expect: in this exciting 2 hour Christmas workshop, you have a choice of making a beautiful Christmas themed freestanding 'curve' or four individual Christmas hanging decorations from a wide range of specialist glass textures, colours & shapes. Make a traditional snowy scene, a Christmas tree, a cheery robin, heaps of brightly wrapped gifts - the choice is entirely yours and I'm on hand to help you out. Fear not, we'll have some festive treats at the ready to make this festive workshop special! For the curve you will be working on a flat rectangle of glass, the lovely curve shape happens later... What to bring: please wear sensible shoes (no sandals) and avoid fluffy or loose sleeves. You are welcome to bring your own bottle of water. Venue: Wilshaw Village Hall, Wilshaw, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, HD9 4DX. Conveniently located between Meltham and Holmfirth. Lovely, accessible hall with adjacent car park. Refreshments are provided.

Your curve or decorations will be kiln-fired after the workshop and ready for collection or delivery within 10 days. Work that is posted out will require an extra charge of £5 collected at the workshop.

Hello, I'm Carole, an artist based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire and owner of Coco Shoel. I love to create contemporary stained & fused glass, jewellery and art with quirky elements and high detail, unravelling a visual story, a feast for the eyes! For 2 years I have been running fused glass workshops in my local area. It's an absolute delight to teach the joys of working with this exciting medium and I find that lots of workshop participants return to make more glass art.
