This one-day, hands-on workshop is kept intentionally small, with a maximum of six participants, ensuring you receive plenty of individual attention. What You’ll Learn: For New Spinners: You’ll learn how spinning wheels work, and you'll get the chance to try different styles to see what feels most comfortable. The workshop breaks down every aspect of hand spinning—spinning, plying, and more—into achievable steps. By the end of the day, you'll have your own hand-spun skein of yarn to take home. For Experienced Spinners: We’ll help you expand your skills to build your spinning confidence and tackle any issues you may have been having ensuring that you leave feeling ready to love your spinning again. What’s Included: All necessary equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. We supply all the fibre you’ll need to complete your project, and there will be refreshments, including homemade cakes, fresh fruit, and beverages. Just bring a packed lunch, and if you have any allergies, let us know at booking. Additional Information: Fleeces, ready-prepared fibres, and equipment will be available for purchase on the day and through our online shop, so you can continue your spinning journey right away.
