I always wanted to learn hat making skills and travelled all the way from Israel to achieve my goal. I had a wonderful Fascinator hat workshop with Elena. She is a fantastic teacher, and talked me through the basics of millinery in a thorough and detailed way. I have more understanding about hat making and I feel that I can start making myself! I created a beautiful hat and absolutely loved the course. Would highly recommend Elena to anyone wanting to learn about millinery, I've come away with a new skill, and loved my time with Elena!
Response from elena shvab millinery (GLGL Services UK ltd):Dear Valya,
I really enjoyed the workshop and learnt so much. I had a one to one day and was able to ask Elena questions without feeling I was taking other people's time. I loved my hat and would recommend the workshop to anyone whom has a interest in hats.
The course exceeded my expectations and Elena was a wonderful host and a patient tutor. I love the hat that I made and still amazed at how steam can shape the trimmings. For me it was a good experience and recommend it for hat lovers.
Two friends and I spent a wonderful 3.5 hours with Elena in her Fascinator workshop and each of us ended up with a fabulous Fascinator. We can’t believe we made them - they look professional. We giggled and laughed through the whole process - such fun. Elena is a great teacher. Yes, making the edging is a bit tricky but wait until you see what steam can do to shape fabric. If we can do it, you can too. It was a highlight of our time in London.
Response from elena shvab millinery (GLGL Services UK ltd):Dear Donna,

Will definitely recommend this course. Also during the class I had an opportunity to try on Elena's hats that are presented in the studio. Trully great experience!
This was a unique wonderful experience! Elena was warm and welcoming and encouraged us to experiment with materials. We talked a great deal about different hats, how they are made and for what occasion. We tried on all the hats available at the studio :)
And all in the process of making a fabulous hat, it's actually easy with such a wonderful guidance.
I can't wait for occasion to wear my new hat!
