Embroidered leather purse kit

Description

This is a great kit for anyone! Adult or child (10years plus), male or female. A great gift for Christmas, as a stocking filler or just for yourself if you are quite crafty! The purse comes ready cut to size and complete with a popper fastening. All the materials and some tools are included in the kit so if you get the bug you will already have some tools to do some more! You have the choice of 6 different animal shapes to embroider, just select your choice in the options. Each comes with a selection of thread colours too and step by step instructions of how to make your purse. *The purse leather is beige and is vegetable tanned so will darken slightly with age and use* Please state which animal shape you would like in your order (Butterfly, swallow, fish, rabbit, cat or dog) Please beware these kits are not suitable for under 10s due to the use of sharp tools.

Other useful items you will need: • A cutting mat or similar • Thread scissors • Ruler (not essential) • Spatula, brush or thick card (to apply glue) • Lighter or matches • Lacing pony or clamp if you have one (not essential) • Knowledge of how to do running stitch

My designs are mainly influenced by geometric shapes and Art Deco design. I've built up a wide range of skills and now have the luxury of time and space to make my own products and to experiment with techniques and styles. Ultimately though, I love passing on my passion for leather craft to other people by running a series of workshops. I cater for both individuals with 1 to 1 tuition and groups at my Surrey studio or larger groups at other venues so email me if you'd like more information.
