On this one-day workshop you will learn how to create unique jewellery out of polymer clay (Premo and Fimo), in fabulous shades that are absolutely right for you and enhance your natural colouring. You don’t need any prior experience of working with polymer clay, just a love of colour and jewellery. At the end of the day you will take home one complete necklace and one pendant, which may be part of the necklace or a stand-alone piece.
The course takes place in my studio at Bealings Barn, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Places are limited to 6 so that I can give lots of personal attention and guidance. Do let me know if you would like to arrange an event specially for you and your friends.
During the day we cover:
• finding ‘your’ colours
• conditioning clay
• following recipes for mixing precise shades
• layering and marbling effects
• creating a pendant
• making different bead shapes and sizes
• firing clay in a domestic oven
• finishing your pieces
• designing a necklace in a style and length of your choice
All the colour recipes and descriptions of the techniques you learn are included in an information pack so you can continue to create new pieces on your own.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All tools and clay are provided, together with the glass beads and base metal findings (clasps etc) for one necklace. If you wish to add sterling silver findings to your design, or you need a neck wire for your pendant, these can be purchased on the day.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served throughout the course and lunch is available, but you are also welcome to bring your own if you have special dietary requirements. To finish off the day, we can enjoy a glass of Prosecco together and admire each other’s work.

My sister and I attended Elizabeth's course yesterday and had a really enjoyable day. Liz is a warm, knowledgeable and inspirational teacher, the course is held in the workshop looking out onto the garden of her beautiful home and there were plenty of refreshments provided (courtesy of Liz’s husband, Robin) - we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Most importantly, we both came away, having started the day as complete beginners, with necklaces and pendants that we have been proud to show off. Highly recommended!
Response from Elizabeth Sadler Jewellery:Thank you so much, Debbie, for your kind words. It was great fun to meet you and show you the wonders of polymer clay. I loved the beautiful necklace you made.
