Description

Making Cyanotypes ‘Sun Prints’ – Photos and Fauna on paper/fabric and stones Explore lens-free photography with this environmentally friendly 19th century blue print technique. I will take you through the process of making cyanotypes, allowing you plenty of time to experiment. I will demonstrate how to mix the chemicals, apply different coating techniques, judge exposure times and how to build successful compositions. You will be printing on sustainable hemp paper, stones and fabric so you will leave with a print you can display at home. All materials will be provided but please bring any items you would like to make prints with (fauna and feathers always look great). Those who joined our last workshop will have the opportunity to take this art further with printing on stones and fabric as well as using photos! Refreshments will be included
