Costume Horns - Online Fabric Sculpting Workshop by Curiously Contrary

Create a pair of fabulous, wearable horns - perfect for so many occasions. In this workshop you will first learn how to build the base structure for your horns, before using fabric sculpting techniques to cover them. The shaping of the horns is up to you, whether you prefer curly, straight, demonic, cute, almost anything is possible. This project can be completed using any of the fabric hardeners that are available, i.e. Powertex, Paverpol, Sculptin. I will then demonstrate my colouring technique which will allow you to really enhance the detail and textures using colours and shading. If you would like to dress your horns up even further I will also show you how to add embellishments such as flowers to your horns. Join artist and creative tutor, Abigail Lagden, to discover the delights of fabric sculpting. This rather fun and messy craft involves working with fabrics and a fabric hardener to create pieces which are full of intriguing texture and depth. Abigail has a fascination of all things magical and mythical and this certainly creeps out in most of her pieces, bringing a sense of fantasy and fun which also spills into her workshops.
