Description
Use coloured wax to create a layered painting that can be blended, scratched into, collaged onto (and many other techniques) to create a series of abstract paintings which are atmospheric and process led. Wax is an ancient medium and can be used in paintings hot or cold - we use cold wax for this workshop and the finished paintings have a luminous unique quality that normal oil paintings don't share. Suitable for anyone who would like to enjoy working with a new medium and seeing where the process takes them. You need no previous experience of any kind of painting and you do not need to be able to draw!
