This mosaic workshop gives you the choice of creating either a decorative garden stepping stone or a mini sundial. Both options focus on building a durable outdoor piece using ceramic tiles, with attention to colour, layout and overall balance. During the session, you will plan your chosen design and work with a wide range of ceramic tiles in different colours and finishes. You will learn how to arrange tiles to create pattern and flow, whether you prefer a bold, structured design or a more intuitive, free-form approach. Guidance is available throughout to support you with composition and placement as your piece takes shape. The workshop is suitable for all experience levels, from complete beginners to those with previous mosaic experience. With small group sizes, there is time to work at a relaxed, unhurried pace while receiving individual support when needed. Held as part of our Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series, the session offers a friendly, sociable environment where you can enjoy the satisfaction of hands-on making.

An experienced tutor will provide clear, step-by-step guidance throughout the workshop. Refreshments are included, with time to enjoy hot drinks and a generous slice of cake during the session. Small group sizes ensure a calm and welcoming atmosphere with individual support available. You will leave with a completed mosaic stepping stone or sundial, a solid and decorative garden feature designed to be enjoyed for years to come. Please note Colours, materials and finishes may vary depending on availability, though every effort is made to offer a wide and inspiring selection. Workshop timings are approximate and may vary slightly depending on individual pace and creativity. A minimum of two bookings is required for each workshop; if this number is not met, bookings may be moved to the next available date.
