Coffee, Cake, 'n' Craft - Copper Moravian Star or Moon in New Romney, Kent
Description
This copper foil glass workshop gives you the choice of creating either a Moravian star or a copper foil moon. Both designs focus on working with light, shape and coloured glass to produce a finished decorative piece that brings warmth and visual interest to interior spaces. During the session, you will be introduced to the Tiffany-style copper foil technique and guided through each stage of the process. You will learn how to cut, foil and solder glass pieces before assembling your chosen design. A selection of coloured, textured and clear glass is available, allowing you to create something that feels bold and dramatic or more subtle and understated, depending on your preference. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience working with glass. With small group sizes, there is plenty of individual guidance and time to work at a relaxed pace, allowing you to enjoy each stage of the making process. Held as part of our Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series, the session offers a friendly, sociable environment where you can focus on learning a traditional glass technique without pressure.
