Description
Imprint flowers and foliage to create wrap vases and vessels Spend a morning or afternoon pressing beautiful botanicals into the clay surface. Use your decorative, printed slabs to create wrap vases and vessels. Emma will guide you through the process step-by-step with plenty of creative time. You will learn various methods for getting a perfect print from your botanicals. You will also be shown how to roll an even piece of clay, how to wrap, join and add a base and how to tidy and refine; along with lots of other tips, tricks and techniques for using clay.
What's included in the price?
Flowers & foliage will be provided but you may like to bring your own along too. All pieces made will be colour washed with a natural coloured underglaze to highlight your imprints, glazed on the inside only and then fired. If you would prefer, you can opt to decorate your pieces with a range of colours at a later date (additional charges will apply) Please just let us know before you leave your session. If the date or time doesn't suit just contact us with some alternatives and we will be sure to accommodate you. Age/Suitability: Adult & Age 10+ Beginners & Advanced

FAQs
Most workshops are fully inclusive of materials but please do check the listing information to make sure.
We always recommend bringing an apron or old shirt if you are doing a potentially messy activity. We do have disposable ones available if you forget.
Hot drinks are available but you are welcome to bring your own if you desire.
If you have a booked a full day workshop, lunch will usually be included. Please let us know of any dietary requirements you may have, or if you would prefer to bring your own lunch along.
We can also book tables at the Barn Café on site, on your behalf, so please ask if you would like a table before or after your workshop.

We are situated 1 mile off the A12 from the Dobbies Garden Centre roundabout.
There is parking on site.
Please go the rear of the complex and use the parking area beyond the café and antiques centre if possible.
If you required a disabled parking place, please let us know ahead of your workshop and we can arrange for a space closer the entrance.
