Blacksmithing Course (one to one) in a traditional forge on Dartmoor

Enjoy a day's forging in my 200 year old Dartmoor Forge. Get used to the hammer and the anvil and then learn some of the building blocks of blacksmithing, including drawing out splitting and punching.

My aim is to incorporate these skills into a small project for you to complete and take home.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

Protective gear, tea and coffee, bring some lunch and wear stout shoes and a long sleeved top.

My son and I were gifted a day course at the forge and we loved every minute. Greg was very patient and obviously knew his stuff. A brilliant and challenging day out.

Thanks Greg on an enjoyable and instructive day.

Response from Moreton Forge:

Thanks Bernard, it was great working with you
