Beginners Print Course in Bampton Print Studio with Lizzie
Description
A lovely Spring day of linocut printmaking using cutting tools to create a small design which can then be printed on paper or fabric. I will guide you through the process from drawings to final prints and I have lots of nice colours to explore. I show people how to make a one colour, or black and white block, as well as exploring the basics of the reduction (so more colours are possible). If you go for a smaller block, a few layers are definitely possible! Teas, coffees and biscuits provided but bring a small lunch.

The studio isn't visible from the street as it's behind our house but our house is fairly easy to find. I normally invite people through the house, or up a path from Riverside carpark, depending or what's easiest for you. Sorry, no. I will provide teas (i have a range of herbals) and coffees (either filter or tinned) and some biscuits. You can get lunch in Bampton as we have two shops, cafes, a bakery or enjoy your own packed lunch in my garden.
There are a couple of car parks in Bampton (with honesty boxes). The closest one to the studio is Riverside. You can also park on street but look out for the brook!
