Art Therapy for Women 45+

X

Description

Weekly sessions during term-time. Participants are advised to book for six weeks, to establish a stable group. However, you can pay for one initial session to see if it suits you. A mutually supportive group which encourages creative expression, at your own pace, without a set theme, using a range of art materials including pastels, paint, clay and paper. Guidance with the art materials will be provided. The group will be an opportunity for people to explore feelings through image-making, in a non-judgemental, curious and supportive atmosphere. We will reflect on the artworks together, but there is no obligation to discuss your work. Image-making can be a very interesting and rewarding process, especially in a group setting, and I expect people will be surprised how much it stimulates their creativity and self-awareness beyond the classes themselves. Parking at Westgate car park around the corner, or at the Council car park up the hill, or at Waitrose at the bottom of the hill.
