Description
Weekly course during term-time. Drop-in is possible but students are advised to book per term or per half-term, to make the most of the course. Have you ever felt the urge to make sculptural artwork but you didn’t know where to start, or which medium to use? Maybe you’ve tried clay and would like to experiment with other materials such as cardboard, metal, plaster, wire, wood, natural objects or recycled ephemera? Rachael will give you instructions and guidance whilst encouraging you to follow your own creative impulses. A non-judgemental and exploratory class designed to fire your imagination. Once you have some basic skills in sculpture and/or construction, you can work towards a final piece with support from the tutor. Materials and tools will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring in items of your own.
