About the Course

Knit yourself a chunky mahoosive throw at one of our workshops coming up in Rochester, Kent during this autumn season. Join Faye as she guides you through the process of arm knitting, a much easier concept than knitting with needles. No previous experience is necessary as the workshop is accessible for beginners.

Each workshop has up to 6 spaces available and will cost just £65 per person, this will include materials and refreshments... And the best bit is that you will get to take home a finished throw in a colour of your choosing (choose at time of booking).

The workshop will run for about 2 hours, which is ample time to complete a small throw. The sessions are suitable for ages 12+ right through to "Grown Ups" (being grown up is optional).

To book just drop a message to Faye with your desired date and time (see dates) and your preferred colour choice; Mustard, Light Silver, Cream, Light Teal, Slate Green or Mid Grey

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

We will be using Woolly Mahoosive's Mammoth yarn, suitable for arm knitting, and it is 100% acrylic making it suitable for Vegans.

Cancellations can be made up to 7 days prior to the event, however 25% of the workshop price is a non-refundable deposit

The small print - INTRA is within walking distance of Rochester & Chatham train stations and Chatham bus station. Please note, our venue is a rather beautiful Art Deco building with some accessibility issues. If you have specific access or disability requirements and would like to participate in the event please let us know at least 5 days before the event date so that we can do our utmost to resolve any potential problems to accommodate. There are ample “pay and display” parking spaces along the high street as well as a short stay & long stay “pay and display” car park near the new Rochester Riverside development. Loved this course, thank you Faye. The throw we produced in a couple of hours will take pride of place in my house.

I enjoyed it so much, I signed up for another on the spot.

Response from Unravel & Unwind CIC:

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I look forward to see you again soon for the crochet wreath workshop.

Had a fab time. Faye had a challenge with 3 ‘lefties’ in the group but adapted her teaching seamlessly. Brilliant time, cake and hot drinks on hand.

Thank you all for coming. I'm so glad you had a brilliant time.

This was a really fun workshop, Faye was very patient and supportive and I was really proud of my very cosy arm-knitted throw which really was made in just over an hour!
