On this sample-based session, you will practice the most common methods of travelling stitches and cable knitting.
Throughout the day you will work through a series of designs from simple to more complex, building knowledge as you progress. You will learn how to read charts and the symbols within the patterns, equipping you with confidence to embark on a Traditional project.
Suitable for those who can knit and purl confidently.
Tracy Chapman was born in Hampshire and spent her younger years by the sea. She moved to London to study and spent a few very happy and interesting years working for Rowan Yarns in retail management. She also instructed at the sewing school in Liberty for them. It was during that time that she started her designing in earnest! Tracy runs many knitting workshops and courses ranging from beginner to City and Guilds Level II.
Tracy has also published a book 'Toys to knit'.
