ABCs of a sewing machine - One Day Course - Herts/Essex Border
Learn how to use your sewing machine to its full potential on this one day sewing workshop in Hatfield Heath. Rebecca will show you the different kinds of stitches that you can use on a sewing machine and how to use specialist feet and accessories.
What's included in the price?
Materials are provided on this course. Please bring your own sewing machine, if you have one. It is best to learn techniques on your own machine. Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, we have spare machines that you may borrow during the course. Please bring your own lunch or if you are attending a course at The Flowerpot, it is located next to The Village Tearoom, most students sit in for lunch but they also do takeaway. There is also a bakery and Co-op on the Heath. We provide refreshments throughout the course including decaf options and hot chocolate.

Established in 2007, we provide a range of dressmaking, soft furnishing and creative courses. We are based in Hatfield Heath, near Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. We offer Day courses at the weekends but some are also offered on a Friday. Our evening classes take place on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. Most of our courses are suitable for any ability, whether you are a complete beginner, returning to sewing or already an experienced sewer.
