A relaxing and mindful day of stitching and creating. Learn decorative, 3D beading techniques and make a beautiful, coral-inspired undersea world. Tutor Jennie of Jolly Super Things will guide you step-by-step through creating 3D beaded elements and adding embroidery stitches to enhance your piece. Take home your embroidery hoop and plenty of supplies to complete at your leisure – this is the perfect craft for a mindful moment! This workshop is ideal for beginners and curious crafters; enjoy a relaxed and fun-filled workshop with step-by-step guidance, in a small group. Location: situated in the beautiful Cotswold market town of Lechlade-on-Thames, maker and creator Jennie Turner-Maskell invites you for a fun and fabulous day.

What's included in the price?

Embroidery hoop and beads to take away. Full expert tuition, all tools and materials included. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are provided. Please bring lunch if required, or visit one of the many cafés and restaurants in Lechlade (2 minutes’ walk). Suitable for ages 12+ (children 16 & under must be accompanied by a participating adult).

Fun & fabulous workshops with maker, tutor and treasure seeker Jennie Turner-Maskell. Workshops mainly take place in or near Jennie's charming home in the Cotswolds. Jennie is co-founder of Crafter's Retreats and a member of the prestigeous Supercraft Cruises team, teaching crafts on cruise ships. A tutor for over 15 years, qualified trainer and lifelong-learner, Jennie has a background in 3D art and design and theatre management. Workshops range from Mosaic Making to Metal Embossing, Seaglass Jewellery Making, Fabric Printing, Weaving, Christmas Crafts and many more. Working with small groups, Jennie ensures workshops are always relaxed and friendly.

"My 13 year old proto-goth niece and I attended this course. We both loved it. We received a warm welcome with lots of tea and coffee. We shared the day with 4 others and quickly became like old friends gathered for a shared purpose. Jennie has an enormous wealth of knowledge and crafting resources. You almost feel daunted when you first start due to the sheer number of options. But with Jennie’s gentle nudges you find yourself making a mosaic (or two) that looks both professional yet uniquely yours. You are at work most of the time, with a break over lunch for drying time. But in the end my niece’s was truly a work of art, the other ladies’ ones were very pretty, mine something I will happily hang on my wall to remember the day I felt artistic :-). I am fairly sure I will book again and take friends with me. I strongly recommend. "
