"A great day out with my best friend who had invited me along to make use of a voucher she had from last Christmas. Despite my impatience and perfectionism at times undoubtedly making me a frustrating student, Victoria was patient and encouraging. She was quite right too when she said that when I got my reindeer home I'd realise what a good job I'd done! I agree now. I really enjoyed the course and the end product. I have been spreading the word too about the Willow Barn!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. I really was not expecting to come away with something that looked so good as I'm not artistic or creative so I was absolutely delighted my creation actually looked like a reindeer5. Victoria was a great teacher and nothing was too much trouble - plenty of tea and coffee too. Excellent value for money and would definitely like to attend another of Victoria's courses."

"Great to be back at Willow Barn with Victoria and accompanied by daughter and daughter in law to be. Excellent constructive help and encouragement from Victoria and we all succeeded in producing very different reindeers . They were much larger than anticipated and packing three plus ourselves into the car continued the enjoyment of the day. Partners were suitably impressed, the deer will join piglets from earlier in the year! Many thanks Victoria we may well return again with your new ideas for classes."

"What a superb day! I have seen beautiful willow sculptures around for a long time wanted to learn how to do this. Victoria has enabled me to create a “characterful” creature for my garden and given me the confidence to attempt more on my own. Victoria had other sculptures around the garden and which show that she has a real aeristic eye for shape and form. She used this to help us all produce a very recognisable reindeers to be proud of! Ended up asking to make a pheasant as I get a lot in my garden and Victoria produced a picture to copy very quickly. Lovely to have learnt a new skill and come away with an attractive addition to the garden in a one day course."

"Excellent! This course is one of the most enjoyable courses I have done in a long time. Victoria ( course leader ) is a lovely lady who instantly put everyone at ease. Her instructions and demonstrations were precise and clear and everybody came away with a willow animal to be proud of. Victoria was also a very good host providing endless cups of tea, coffee and cake. Finally, although the course ran from 10am until 3 pm, there was absolutely no rush to finish and we all ended up staying well past 4pm."

"A really enjoyable day making a willow piglet with Victoria's patient and fun teaching. It was a lovely creative atmosphere with the other course participants. I did not think i could make a good looking piglet, on my way to the course, but i came home with something to proud of, thanks to Victoria's careful direction. It was a very relaxing and therapeutic day, a tonic from life's challenges. The studio is amongst the lovely County Durham countryside"

"A fab birthday gift thankyou I got this as a birthday pressie, when we arrived, we were greeted like royalty with a lovely coffee/tea waiting for us, followed by a little chat with the other piglet makers (the piglet course was the one I was on) A group of 4 was perfect gave us the one to one time if needed whilst sculpturing the piglet. A fun day with constant laughs throughout. I would recommend this course to anyone, or whether it's for a birthyday /Christmas pressie, you will be surprised of how much fun it is what you can make and the end result you take home ."

"I attended this course with my daughter and elderly mother. I can't stress enough how much we enjoyed it. The idea of making a piglet in willow was why I booked the course in the first place, I expected it to be interesting, informative and fun. It was all of this and more. That was down to Victoria. She is an excellent tutor; welcoming and friendly, knowledgeable and patient. She couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. I'm planning to go back later in the year to attempt a reindeer. I'd highly recommend any of the courses for any age group or ability. If anyone is stuck for a different Xmas/birthday gift Victoria's the lady to contact."
