"What a fantastic two day course! RIght from the word go, I was totally absorbed in the world of bag making. Roseanna was so knowledgeable, organised, approachable, explained skills and how to use the equipment clearly, you had space to think for yourself and time to work at your own pace; an excellent teacher. Friends and family were seriously impressed with the end result. I would highly recommend this course."

"What a fabulous way to spend a day. I have made bags before but lacked the confidence to work in leather. When I found this course I knew I needed to book a place. Rosanna is a great teacher and friendly person. She is able to work and adjust to your level of speed and ability. Her knowledge of working with leather shines through as she gently guides you through the process and choices to be made along the way. I have come away with a beautiful two tone, fully lined bag which is soo me and already has received a number of complements. Added to that is all the practical knowledge i picked up along the way and a list of suppliers to allow me to continue with my own projects. Refreshments were on hand and the cafe serves a great lunch. Thank you Rosanna for a bagtastic day."

"I had an excellent two days with Rosanna, designing and making my own bag. Rosanna is very knowledgeable and patient and a great teacher. I am very pleased with my finished result and even had enough time left to learn hand stitching and make a small purse. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to make something bespoke and hope that I will be back again someday to try something else. Thank you so much Rosanna!"

"I did the one day bag making course last week. Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt so much. Rosanna is a great teacher and makes you feel relaxed. This was my first time working with leather and I came out with a really usable bag which I am so happy with. The workshop is in a lovely environment and it was a great experience. I'd highly recommend anyone to go on this course and at a later date I will be booking on to another one."

"Fantastic day where I managed to make a beautiful lined leather bag in a day! Definitely helps to have an idea of what you want to achieve, and be as prepared as possible (photos, measurements). Studios are light and airy with a fabulous café next door. There are a range of leathers available if you are not bringing your own. I learnt new skills that would be hard to get from just watching videos or by reading books. That said, Rosanna has just had a new book of projects published!"

"I would gladly recommend this course to anyone interested in arts and crafts. I booked the full day course as a birthday surprise to my wife who is an experienced seamstress but inexperienced in working with leather; nevertheless with our tutor's guidance she was able to make a beautiful bag. I myself have no experience in working with materials, but benefiting from Rosanna's experience and her excellent teaching skills, I was able to fashion a leather case for my tablet computer. I would like to thank Rosanna for her patience and expertise, the relaxed manner she has meant that we thoroughly enjoyed the day and have even talked about attending another of her courses in the future; we are both looking forward to the release of her book later in the year. We had a brilliant day Rosanna was a laid back yet hands on tutor working with everyone at there own pace and giving guidance when needed. The range of items you could make was excellent along with the vast quantity and colours of leather so you could tailor make things to your want. If you are wanting to do a leather course then I would highly recommend hers"

"I signed on to the 1 day course with Rosanna and was a complete novice. Can't be more positive about the course, venue or approach teaching that Rosanna takes. Really relaxed environment and while there is a good structure to the day (progress from basic to some more advanced techniques), Rosanna is more than happy to deviate if someone has a specific interest or query. You even walk away with a few projects that are actually "usable"! Thanks again Rosanna, lovely to meet you and best of luck with future events and courses :)"

"I bought this course as a Xmas gift for my husband. We both attended and we had a really great day. Rosanna is a really good teacher telling us about the different types of leather, basic material required, hand stitching and machine sewing method, where to provide the required items if we wanted to continue... She had prepared examples of objects we could make, suggesting we would be able to do 4/5 during the day. She is full of ideas to help you personalize everything really making it feel special. We ended up making 2 card holders, a wallet, a purse, a pencil case and a tray. For his last item my husband was able to go off the list and make a sleeve for his laptop fully home made! He was very proud of himself, best xmas gift ever! Thank you Rosanna."

"I contacted Rosanna about helping me construct a pattern and teach me the skills needed to sew a heavy duty canvas and leather tote bag. Having never used a sewing machine before I was a bit apprehensive of whether or not I'd be able to produce a good product, Rosanna was such a good teacher, I never felt out of my depth. Everything was explained very well, and when the bag started coming together I was so happy with how it turned out! I have come away from the course with much more confidence about making these bags in the future. After we finished the bag we had some time remaining so Rosanna helped me hand tool a leather notebook holder and knife sheath. Hand tooling leather wasn't something I was originally interested in but after learning the skills I now have some products I can make using scraps of leather I have left over! I am so chuffed to bits with what I've gained from the course and it was certainly worth every penny! Thanks Rosanna!"

You work at your own speed and don't feel rushed at all. You can ask a thousand and one questions and in between "tea on demand" and lots of chat I came away knowing so much more and with a determination to come back for a second course.
