"After a warm welcome with a cup of tea in Kerry’s homely and very productive kitchen, a deeply enjoyable morning of learning unfolded with a very good teacher. Kerry’s knowledge and expertise is truly outstanding. She definitely knows her stuff and has wonderfully chosen to share it. Kerry learnt the world and business of candle making the hard way, that many people are greatly benefiting from now. Her learning was through trial and error and through testing, testing and more testing. Kerry also has significant gift and homeware retail business experience that informs her own candle business. The Can to Candle business course is thorough and you’ll receive all you need to know to get going with confidence. The course notes and Kerry’s sharing is so good that I can hardly believe what I received for the money. I highly recommend this fantastic course! "Due to a change in personal circumstances I was looking to take up candle making as a hobby for enjoyment but if I could make some money from it all at the same time a bonus! I started to look into this but there was so much information out there leaving me overwhelmed and not knowing where to start. At a craft fair I came across can to candle and the workshop and I am so glad I did. Kerrylyn was so welcoming, warm and friendly and took any nerves away instantly. The fact everything is laid out for you and the information is available at your fingertips definitely takes away some of the anxiety and makes the whole thought process much more enjoyable. Attending the course has given me both the confidence and tools to start on my journey, the post support has also been invaluable and being able to drop an email with a question is a definite bonus. "Had the most lovely Sunday morning on Kerry's candle making workshop. We were welcomed in to her lovely home, where Kerry explained her reasons for starting her own business, showed us how to make our own candles, our own oil fragrance and explained the right and wrong ways to burn candles. Kerry was extremely friendly and knowledgeable in her craft. Once we had made our candles and fragrance, Kerry served up a very delicious warm crumble with cuppa, which gave us more time to chat to others in the group and ask any questions we may have, I also purchased a starter pack for a very reasonable price. I have made a scent that I hope to use in making my own candles for my wedding day. I would definitely recommend to anyone and will be back for the Christmas workshop."

This is a really comprehensive course and covers everything from practical candle making tips to the legal and technical requirements of making candles as a business. "A brilliant way to spend a Sunday morning. Interesting and informative session in a relaxed friendly environment. Kerry is the perfect person to learn from - friendly, warm, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her work. I gained knowledge on different aspects of candles (never realised there was so much to know) and left with the lovely candle I made. I also mixed another fragrance which I brought home too. All this with tea, coffee and a lovely fruit crumble (completely free from nuts, dairy, gluten etc. ), so safe for everyone. Terrific gift to receive and would recommend it to everyone. Even those who think they cannot make anything!"
