Description

If you have some experience of making jewellery but are interested in using sustainable, recycled materials such as plastic waste then this course is for you. It covers the tools, techniques, materials, safety measures and design inspiration so you'll have everything you need to get started in making beautiful pieces of jewellery from waste plastic. If you can’t access any of the tools then I can provide a full tool kit on request. The online course consists of 8 modules which are all accessed via my online school. You can work through the individual video lessons in your own time and ask me questions along the way by just clicking a button next to the video screen. There’s also easily accessible downloadable handouts. You’ll will have access to the videos for 12 months and can book a free 1 hour 1:1 session with Bronwen on zoom at a time during that period. There are over 40 individual videos covering: identifying plastic types, cutting plastic safely, embellishing, melting and laminating, joining with rivets, and making silver findings. At the end of each module is a task for you to complete.
