Description

Nestled in a beautiful location on the edge of Exmoor, this taster course is a perfect introduction to the art of glassblowing. We will begin each workshop with an introduction and thorough safety instructions followed by an overview of the process. Armed with knowledge, you will step into the mesmerizing realm of glassblowing. During the workshop you will gather molten glass from the furnace and learn to shape it into 2 different items. Starting with a bauble and then moving on to your choice of paperweight, vase or drinking glass. The class is for up to 4 people but will need at least 2 to sign up for it to run. If you already have a group of 3 or more, consider a half day private booking or get in touch to discuss other options. With expert guidance and a passion for the craft, I aspire to provide an unforgettable glassblowing experience that will leave you with not only breathtaking creations but also a newfound appreciation for this captivating art form. Book your taster workshop today and unleash your inner artist amidst the radiant glow of molten glass. Suitable for ages 16+
