Glass Fusing and Slumping for Beginners and Improvers

X

Description

Glass fusing and slumping workshops. These workshops are in Lytham St. Annes on The Fylde Coast in Lancashire. A beginner would typically learn how to score and break glass safely before cutting their own glass to use for learning 4 or 5 basic techniques of glass fusing. After a homemade lunch, they would then go on to design and make two or three larger pieces from bowls, mirror frames, hangings, free-standing panels. Returning students will be given a directed piece in the morning as a refresher, be taught a technique new to them, and be guided through the design and making of their chosen pieces. Work would be ready to collect usually within two weeks. Jean and Janice reserve the right to cancel these at any time if necessary due to the COVID 19 situation.
