FAQs

It depends on the session - please read the course listing. As a general rule, courses advertised for ages 8 years + will be a drop off and collect, although we do allow parents to stay if they feel their child would benefit from this. For courses aged 5 - 8 we usually require a parent or adult to stay with the child as this will likely be a family session.

Yes, we have an Online Safety Policy, details of which can be provided on request. Please do get in touch if you would like a copy of this document.

You will be given a Zoom link and passcode when you book. When you click on the link and enter the passcode, you will be added to a waiting room until the session is ready to start. You can access the session with this link. If possible, please change your screen name to your child's first name. If you lose access at any time, just re-join. You may go into a waiting room but will be added back in to the call. You will need a reliable internet connection for uninterrupted access.

Yes, your child needs to be aware of their environment and how that can impact others in the sessions. Children should always be supervised when online. If there is a lot of background noise in your home, you may wish to put your child onto mute. Holly may move your child onto mute if unexpected noise arises, feel free to let you child put their microphone back on if this passes.
Your child should be in a suitable environment for drawing, with a smooth flat worktop to work on. We ask that children turn on the camera to say hello to other children at the start and the end of the session but you may choose to turn your camera off whenever you need to. Please ask your child to turn their camera and microphone off when leaving the room for any reason.
Please do make sure everyone in the home is aware that your child is on a live zoom session. If you lose access to the session at any point, just choose to rejoin when you can. Children can talk about their work and discuss the sessions at any time. These sessions are very friendly and informal.

Yes, other members of the household are free to use the link to join in at home. However, we ask that you do not share the link outside your home.

But Holly will always make everyone feel welcome and you will finish with a great outcome.
