Join us for a fun and relaxed morning’s workshop in candle making held in a Victorian schoolroom in the Hertfordshire countryside. No previous experience is needed – just come along and learn a new skill. We'll use soy wax with a range of fragrance oils and dyes to choose from so you can create your own unique candles to take home. You’ll learn about candle making equipment, different waxes, wick and container choices while making: 30cl glass candle 20cl glass candle 9cl tin candle Wax melts A Candle making Guide will be emailed to you after the class. A maximum of 7 per workshop to allow for individual attention. Ages: 14+. If you would like a 1-1 class or a private group/party then please do get in touch to arrange a date to suit you.

What's included in the price?

All materials and refreshments are included. There is plenty of free parking. COVID-19 Policy Should you need to cancel at the last minute due to feeling unwell or having been in contact with someone displaying Covid-19 symptoms then please do so for everyone’s safety. It will be easy to re-book at a date to suit you.

I have been holding regular candle making workshops in St Albans and Berkhamsted since 2018 alongside private events and one-to-one sessions throughout Hertfordshire. The workshops are fun and much more than than just making candles - new people to meet, maybe seeing a different part of the county and a relaxing time focusing solely on candle making for a morning. You may even find yourself as passionate about candles as I am! NB I reply privately to each person who leaves a review and this is not seen on the website.
