Relax, unwind and be one with nature. Take a trip on this relaxing mindfulness journey exploring the beauty that nature has to offer. A holistically creative workshop where you'll be introduced to the wonders of nature in detail and learn how to preserve the beauty of the outdoors into a piece you can hang in your home. This 3hr workshop is suitable for beginners and you don't even have to be creative to enjoy this workshop! The workshop will start with a short walk around the grounds of the mill where you will learn about the history of the mill and we will take time to observe the plants. We will then return to the studio to make a hanging decorative cast using casting techniques with clay and plaster. You will also learn how to finish off your cast once fully dried at home. Due to the materials used, this workshop can be quite messy so old clothes are advised, and aprons will be provided. All materials and botanicals will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own botanicals if you wish. Due to the nature of this workshop, the finished result will be ever-changing with the seasons. This is a group workshop.
