Description
This is backyard forging, aimed at people wanting to learn the basic skills of forging their own knives with simple and readily available resources. You will learn how to select the right metal and then we will go through the process step by step of cutting, shaping and all the heat treating cycles to make a high quality wood carving blade. On the second day we will make our custom made handle from Scottish timber. We will learn how to sharpen the blade like a pro and finally fix the blade into your handle.
