Weaving Course: Weave a Scene

Description

Weave a small landscape or seascape using a rigid heddle loom with tutor Angela Pawlyn. The warp threads can be raised or lowered which allows enough time to complete a picture in a day. You'll be also be able to practice techniques such as meet and separate, which work well on a simple frame. Tapestry pictures are often woven on simple frame. Seascapes without high cliffs or landscapes without steep hills are ideal. Weaving with two closely coloured yarns can give interesting effects. This course is suitable for beginners or those looking to develop and improve their weaving technique.
