Description
This exciting upholstery course is suitable for beginners and experience enthusiasts. You will need to bring your own project - as this is a traditional upholstery course only pre 1920 chairs are suitable. There’s plenty of space but please note that projects need to be taken home after each session. You will be guided and taught in traditional upholstery techniques - using only traditional materials such as hessian, horsehair and cotton felt. All tools are provided and materials are are charged at cost price at the end of the course. Please note this is a course of 12 sessions - every Thursday starting 11.September with a two week break (30.20 and 6.12)
What's included in the price?
A lovely atmosphere and lots of tea and coffee are included. The hall is heated and has all facilities. There’s enough parking for everyone. Dogs might be present.

As this is a traditional upholstery course we can only work with pre 1920 chairs. Anything after that is likely foam or constructed in a way that a staple gun is needed. EBay/auction houses or FB marketplace are great sources. I’m happy to help with finding a project.
