This course runs over two days (Saturdays and Sundays). The date listed above is the first day (Saturday).
Content will involve dismantling a section of wall, digging out and laying the foundations and rebuilding the wall through to the coping (top stones). It is held in the beautiful landscape of the Sychannt Pass near Conwy.
The courses on August5/6 and September 16/17 are clawdd walling, which is a stone face set in an earth bank (sometimes called a stone hedge). The stones are set in the bank vertically, similar to books stacked on a shelf. This is not a free standing dry stone wall. These courses will be held at Bethel near Caernarfon.
