About the Course
This course runs over two days (Saturdays and Sundays). The date listed is the first day (Saturday).
Content will involve dismantling a section of wall, digging out and laying the foundations and rebuilding the wall through to the coping (top stones). It is held in the beautiful landscape of the Sychannt Pass near Conwy.
We are also running courses on clawdd walling on August 3/4 and September 15/16. This type of walling consists of a stone face set in an earth bank (sometimes called a stone hedge). The stones are set in the bank vertically, similar to books stacked on a shelf. This is not a free standing dry stone wall. These courses will be held at Bethel near Caernarfon. Because of the amount of work needed in setting up this site, bookings need to be made at least six weeks prior to the course date (to know if we have enough numbers to go ahead).
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
