Description

This hands-on wire art workshop focuses on designing and creating a Tree of Life using shaping, twisting and wrapping techniques. You will learn how to form roots, branches and flowing structure using wire, resulting in a finished decorative piece that reflects your own style and design choices. During the session, you will be guided through building the main structure of your tree, shaping the wire to create balance and movement before adding coloured beads for detail and personal expression. Beads can be used to represent leaves, fruit or symbolic elements, and you will have a wide range of colours and finishes to choose from. You can choose to create your Tree of Life within a circular ring or as a freestanding piece mounted on a wooden base. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who enjoy mindful, hands-on making. With small group sizes and step-by-step guidance throughout, there is plenty of time to work at a relaxed pace and focus on the process. Held in a calm and supportive setting, the session encourages creativity without pressure.
