Stained Glass: Creative Glass Course (6 weeks)
Description
Learn the magic of creating with glass! This course gives you the opportunity to create your own projects in glass media, with support and guidance. This class offers instruction & guidance in the construction of leaded stained-glass, copper-foil & applique. You will get the opportunity to practice the techniques required to successfully design and construct your own panel; learn to cut & shape glass to a simple pattern; assemble, solder and cement depending on the chosen method of construction. Materials can be bought from tutor and tools will be available for use during the classes. PLEASE NOTE: The class involves working with lead so is not advisable for pregnant or breast-feeding women. Please wear close-toed shoes. Suitablility: ADULTS & 16 yrs + Beginners & Some Experience If the dates/day or times don't suit let us know and we may be able to re-arrange Book early to avoid disappointment. Please confirm your stained glass experience (if any).
