Silver Stacking Rings Workshop In this relaxed and informal workshop you will learn how to cut, solder and finish sterling silver to create a set of 3 stacking rings and a practice copper ring. You will start by being shown how to measure your own finger and create a ring to fit perfectly. A stack of 4 will be made before a variety of finishing techniques are explored for finishing your rings including various hammering and oxidised finishes. All materials and refreshments are included. Tutor - Lucy Our classes are held in our lovely, cosy studio in Croft Myl in Halifax. We have space for 6 attendees on each class where you will have your own individual workspace, and all materials and tools provided. Refreshments are included, with tea and coffee and snacks available throughout the class. There is no designated lunch break but there are natural breaks in the making process so please feel free to bring your own lunch. Times vary for each class, please ensure you read the individual descriptions thoroughly, and please be aware that finishing times are an estimate and classes may finish slightly earlier or slightly later than the time given. Please note that classes will be unable to run if the minimum requirement of 3 attendees do not book on. Please bring reading glasses if required and tie long hair back. Any of our classes are available for private group bookings, please message us via the 'message the tutor' button for more information. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building there is no wheelchair access to Croft Myl and there is stepped access only to the studio. All bookings are non-refundable or transferable.
