Looking for a new hobby or a new string to add to your bow? Come along to Yardley Hastings and discover the wonderful world of jewellery making with this full-day craft class. Spend a creative day in the jewellery making workshop learning all the techniques needed to be able to craft your own piece of silver jewellery and you can also choose to add a gemstone to your work. Choose from either cabochon bezel setting or tube setting for your project. With help from your friendly teacher and expert crafter, you will enjoy learning a range of jewellery making techniques and making a design to suit your style and preferences. Enjoy soaking up the crafty atmosphere and relaxing as you make your very own bespoke jewellery. By the end of this full-day beginner's craft class, you will have your very own piece of silver jewellery to take home, wear and admire! Materials are in addition to the course fee and will be approx £15-£30 depending on your design and stone you choose. Suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.

I was interested in making and designing from a very early age and developed my first jewellery range in 2000. I then discovered my love for teaching in 2004 and have been developing my courses ever since. I have a home teaching studio for 1:1 & 1:2 sessions and in 2017 I set up a teaching studio at Yardley Arts where I can teach up to 11 learners. Qualifications: BA in Designed Metalwork and Jewellery from BCUC and MA Royal College of Art Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.
