Silver Bangle Jewellery Making Workshop - Half Day
Description
A 3-hour course getting creative and making jewellery. Craft your very own sterling silver bangle, whether as a gift for somebody or a treat for yourself. Hosted in a traditional flint barn workshop nestled amongst the South Downs in the beautiful Cuckmere Haven (close to Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne & Hastings). You will be guided through the process of working in precious metals using traditional silversmithing techniques such as annealing, forging, soldering, filing, and polishing. After this workshop, you take home a totally unique handmade silver bangle as well as a host of jewellery-making tips and techniques. As an additional extra, you will have the option to have your bangle gold-plated, which can be requested and paid for at the end of the workshop. Please note this service takes 3 weeks, and you will need to leave your bangle with us, which can then be collected or posted out.
What's included in the price?
- The use of all tools and materials. - Refreshments and homemade cake. - You will leave with your finished bangle on the day, unless you choose to have the gold plating option. N.B (we highly recommend that you spend the whole day in our beautiful village of Litlington where you can walk along the South Downs, amble along the Cuckmere River, visit the Litlington Crystal Store & Tea Gardens, or grab a bite and a pint at the 17th Century Plough & Harrow pub before or after your jewellery class.
