Description
The Silk & Gold Rose kit is a very pretty design which covers couching Japanese gold with green silk floss to represent leaves, cutwork with bright check purl for the centre, and using long & short stitch with lovely blue-mauve silk flosses for the petals. Silk floss has a lovely sheen to it, which combines beautifully with the gold thread. The finished embroidery measures 7.5cm wide by 7.5 cm high. Suitable for all levels. All my kits are packaged using recyclable and/or biodegradable materials.
What's included in the price?
This silk & gold kit includes the design hand drawn onto a 20cm x 20cm square of white silk dupion, with a 38cm x 38cm square of calico support fabric, Japanese gold thread, gilt bright check purl, three reels of silk floss, full instructions with stitch diagram & stitch guide, beeswax, a size 22 chenille needle with buttonhole thread and a size 9 embroidery needle. All kept tidy in a neat little box.
