Description
Within this full day class, you will learn to set your very own piece of beach glass into a modern prong setting, and will be taught how to do so using a range of silversmithing techniques and a variety of jewellery-making equipment in the correct manner. The cost of the class covers all of the materials that you will need to create your own beautiful pendant (including enough silver to set a 10-20mm stone, and a unique piece of beach glass), but if you would like to bring in a piece of beach glass or other asymmetric stone that you have found yourself then you are more than welcome to do so! (For stones bigger than 10-20mm, please contact us here at the school in advance to ensure the materials are available for you on the day and to pay for additional materials in advance.) As well as the materials needed to create a pendant, we also provide tea, coffee, and biscuits! This class is limited to 5 people to allow for plenty of individual support throughout the session.
