Description
Powertex is a water based, non toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks). It is becoming very popular with crafts and artists alike so why not give it a try. This workshop is run by Michelle Melville certified level 4 powertex tutor. In this class you will working on a 30cm hexagon canvas, and use powertex along with various textiles and embellishments and products to create a beautiful mixed media piece. There will be various rice papers to choose from. Once your texture is finished you will then add colour using a dry brush technique. The exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. Once finished you take your finished piece home with you.
What's included in the price?
Everything you need to make your canvas will be provided, including gloves and apron. Please do wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy.
