Saturday 3rd August 10.00am-3pm Returning Sunday 4th August 10-12pm to add colour Powertex is a water based, non toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks). It is becoming very popular with crafts and artists alike so why not give it a try. In this class you will be using powertex and various textiles to design and create a fish sculpture, that's approximately 40cm tall. There will be plenty of embellishments and textured fabrics to add interest to you fish. Once dry on day two you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your sculpture, the exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. There will examples to inspire your imagination. Once finished you take your unique sculpture home with you and you will be able to place your sculpture in your garden after 3 weeks. Please bring a packed lunch with you. This class is suitable for beginners and aimed at adults, over 10's can also book a place and welcome to attend when accompanied by a full paying adult.
