Description
Powertex is a water based, non toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks). It is becoming very popular with crafts and artists alike so why not give it a try. In this class you will be powertex, a pre-molded plaster head (several to choose from)and various textiles to design and create your own Fairy or Angel sculpture. Once dry you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your sculpture, the exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. There will examples to inspire your imagination. Once finished you take your unique sculpture home with you and you will be able to place your sculpture in your garden after 3 weeks. Please bring a packed lunch with you. This class is suitable for complete beginners and aimed at adults, over 10's can also book a place and welcome to attend when accompanied by a full paying adult.
