Description
This is a fabulous two-hour pottery workshop focussing on how to ‘throw’ a pot. You will learn how to prepare clay and centre it on the wheel and pull up the clay to form cylinders and bowl shapes. This is a small informal class of up to 3 people, where you'll get lots of teaching time and have your own pottery wheel throughout the session. You will also have to opportunity to practice ‘turning’ on pre-prepared leather hard pots. When the workshop is finished you can choose your favourite three pieces and they will be fired and glazed ready for you to collect within two or three weeks. This workshop is particularly suitable for those that have previously attended the introduction to pottery workshop, or have some previous experience and will certainly provide you with the skills to take pottery making onto the next level.
