Description
Are you a design or art student? Do you want to make sure your portfolio is up to the standard of the best? Join us for our portfolio workshop! We'll walk you through the process of developing an effective and eye-catching portfolio, and give you some insider tips on how to get noticed in the industry. You'll leave with a well-presented portfolio, an action plan that will help you get into the program of your choice, and interview practice so you can nail that all-important interview. We've got over 20 years of experience teaching design and art students, so we know exactly what it takes to produce work that stands out from the crowd. Our workshops are designed for people who want to know how to prepare for interviews, how to use their portfolio as a marketing tool for their own products, and how to present their work in the best possible light. Our company founder has interviewed for both jobs and degree level courses. She knows what questions they're going ask—and she knows exactly how to answer them! If you bring a wide selection of your work and sketchbooks and are prepared to put in some time before the catch-up session, you will see some great results. With years of experience doing these types of sessions and the delight in hearing from ex-students about the exciting new course or job they got onto, I am confident I can help. You will leave with: - an action plan of what you need to do - A3 portfolio - 10 professional presentation sleeves - example interview questions and portfolio check list - well presented, focused portfolio For the complete package, come to our sketchbook workshop too and enter your work for exams or interviews knowing you have explored all your assessment objectives and produced a sketchbook with impact and flair. There is a maximum of 4 students per course, so there will be lots of help and time to create your beautiful pieces. Bigger groups can be accommodated at a larger studio close by.
